Benefits

If you are interested in the field of empirical aesthetics, IAEA welcomes you to apply for membership. As a member you will have access to regular updates about news in empirical aesthetics, including meetings and conferences in related areas, and forthcoming special issues of related journals. Furthermore, there are reduced fees for members at the biannual IAEA conference.

Apply for Membership

Fees for the 2024/2025 period are:
€120 for full members
€80 for student members (undergraduate, graduate, or PhD students)

Please note: Membership is for a two-year period, always starting on the 1st of January of an even year and ending on the 31st of December of the next odd year. Therefore, payments made before October 1st, 2025 count for the term 2024/2025 with membership ending on December 31st, 2025. Payments made after October 1st, 2025 count for the term 2026/2027, with membership starting on January 1st, 2026.
